galabiya|gaˈlaːbija| Also gal(l)abea, -beeah, -bia, -bieh, -biyah, -biyeh, -bya. [= Arab. jallābīya, pop. equivalent of jilbāb.] A smock-like garment worn in Arabic-speaking Mediterranean countries.
