Tromexan, n. Pharm.|trəʊˈmɛksæn| [Origin unknown: apparently an Egyptian name for dicoumarol (Martindale's Extra Pharmacopoeia (1958, ed. 24) I. 715).] A proprietary name for an ethyl ester derived from dicoumarol, C22H16O8 , a white crystalline powder used as an anti-coagulant.
