aglyphous, a. Zool.|ˈæglɪfəs| [f. a- 14 + Gr. γλυϕή carving + -ous; cf. F. Aglyphodontes n. pl. (A. H. A. Duméril, 1853).] Of a snake's tooth: solid, without a groove for venom. Of a snake: (belonging to a group Aglypha) having such teeth.
