Compactly clustered, having the form of a rounded mass or cluster. Chiefly Bot.; also Anat. (see quot. 1854).

b. intr. To wind or twist about.

A filamentous substance gathered into a ball is said to be glomerated, but discontinuous particles are conglobated.
