Graafian, a. Anat.|ˈgrɑːfɪən| [f. the name of R. de Graaf, a Dutch anatomist (1641–73) + -ian.] In Graafian follicle, Graafian vesicle, one of the small sacs in the ovary of mammals in which the ova are matured.
