Albertan, a. Geol.|ælˈbɜːtən| [f. the name of Alberta, a province of western Canada + -an.] Of, pertaining to, or designating the Middle Cambrian in (esp. western) North America. Also absol. (See quot. 1982 and cf. Acadian a. 2 a.)
