‖ hemimetabola, n. pl. Entom.|ˌhɛmɪmɪˈtæbələ| [mod.L. neut. pl. (sc. insecta), f. Gr. ἡµι- hemi- + µετάβολος changeable.] A division of Insects comprising those which undergo incomplete metamorphosis.
