herdic U.S.|ˈhɜːdɪk| Also herdick. [Named from the inventor, Peter Herdic of Pennsylvania.] A two- or sometimes four-wheeled cab or carriage having a low-hung body with the entrance at the back and seats at the sides. Also herdic-phaeton.
