hydrome, hydrom Bot.|ˈhaɪdrəʊm| [ad. G. hydrom (H. Potonié 1883, in Jahrb. K. Bot. Gartens Berlin II. 243), f. hydro- + -ome as in rhizome, etc.] The water-conducting section of a vascular bundle.
