hydrothermal, a. Geol.|haɪdrəʊˈθɜːməl| [mod. f. Gr. ὑδρο- water + θερµός hot: see thermal.] Of or relating to heated water; spec. applied to the action of heated water in bringing about changes in the earth's crust.
