Vallisˈcaulian, n. and a. [See def.] a. n. pl. An order of ascetic monks, forming a branch of the Benedictines, founded at Val des Choux (Vallis Caulium) in 1193. b. adj. Of or belonging to the Valliscaulians or their order.
