Ignatian, a. and n.|ɪgˈneɪʃ(ɪ)ən| Also 7 Ignasian, Ignation. [f. personal name Ignati-us (see def.) + -an.] A. adj. 1. Pertaining to Ignatius Loyola (1491–1556), or to the Order of Jesus founded by him.
