iniomous, a. Ichth.|ɪnɪˈəʊməs| [f. mod.L. Iniōmī, f. Gr. ἰνί-ον (see inion) + ὦµος shoulder.] Of or pertaining to the Iniomi, an order or suborder of physostomous osteous fishes, having the scapular arch not connected with the sides of the cranium, but either impinging upon the nuchal region or else free.
