Islamofascism, n. depreciative. Brit. |ɪzˌlaməʊˈfaʃɪz(ə)m|, U.S. |ɪsˌlɑmoʊˈfæˌʃɪz(ə)m|[see also Islam n.] [‹ Islamo- comb. form + Fascism n.] The advocacy or practice of a form of Islam perceived as authoritarian, intolerant, or extremist; spec. Islamic fundamentalism regarded in this way.
