kamarezite Min.|kəˈmɑːrəzaɪt| [ad. G. kamarezit (K.H.E.G. Busz 1893, in Verh. d. naturhist. Vereins L. Sitzungsber. d. naturwiss. Sekt. 84) f. Kamareza, name of the place in Greece where it was first found: see -ite1.] A grass-green basic sulphate of copper, originally thought to be Cu3(SO4)(OH)4.6H2O, but later found to be identical with brochantite, Cu4SO4(OH)6.
