Karpinsky (1847–1936), Russ. geologist: see -ite1.] A hydrous alumino-silicate of sodium, beryllium, zinc, and magnesium, Na2(Be,Zn,Mg) Al2Si6O16(OH)2, occurring as radial aggregates of white, needle-shaped crystals.
