kinetheodolite|kɪnɪθiːˈɒdəlaɪt| Also (with hyphen) kine-theodolite. [f. Gr. κίνη(σις movement + theodolite.] A telescope used to follow the path of a projectile, aircraft, or the like, and mounted so that its elevation and azimuth angles are indicated.
