Either of two African antelopes, Tragelephas strepsiceros, the greater kudu, or T. imberbis, the lesser kudu, which is confined to East Africa; the male of the former has spirally-twisted horns, attaining in full-grown specimens a length of 3 feet or more. Also attrib.
