Lamium, n.|ˈleɪmɪəm| [a. L. lāmium dead-nettle (adopted as a genus name by Linnaeus), f. Gr. λάµια gaping mouth (with reference to the shape of the flowers).] A genus of labiate plants which includes several kinds of dead-nettle; (also lamium) a plant of this genus.
