‖ Landsting, n. Now Hist.|ˈlantstiŋ| Also -thing, and hyphened. [Da., f. lands, gen. of land country, + ting assembly (see Thing n.2).] Formerly (until 1953), the upper house of the Danish Parliament (cf. Rigsdag n.).
