‖ évolué, n. (and a.)|evɔlɥe| [Fr., pa. pple. of évoluer to evolve.] An African (from a part of Africa formerly Belgian or French) who has been educated on European principles; an African who has adopted European modes of thought. Hence as adj., designating, pertaining to, or characteristic of such a person; Europeanized.
