M and B|ɛm ənd ˈbiː| Also M & B, and with points. A registered trade mark of the May & Baker Co. Ltd., applied to pharmaceutical preparations marketed by them, esp M & B 693, sulphapyridine tablets. A symbol incorporating the letters M and B was registered as a trade mark in 1935 (Trade Marks Jrnl. (1935) 30 Oct. 1349).
