mediatrice Now rare (or only as Fr.).|ˈmiːdɪeɪtrɪs| [a. F. médiatrice, ad. L. mediātrix (see next).] = mediatrix. The pl. form mediatrices is, so far as spelling is concerned, common to this word and the next: the example placed here may belong to mediatrix.
