millimetre (ˈmɪlɪmiːtə(r), Fr. milimɛtr) Also -meter. [F. millimetre: see milli- and metre.] In the metric system, a measure of length equal to 1/1000 of a metre, or ·0393 inch. Also attrib. Frequently abbreviated millim or mm.
