Monasterian, a. and n. Eccl.|mɒnəˈstɪərɪən| [f. med.L. Monastēri-um Münster (Westphalia) + -an.] The designation of a fanatical sect of Anabaptists who, early in the 16th c., settled themselves at Münster under the style of ‘the New Jerusalem’.
