mundic|ˈmʌndɪk| Also 7–8 mundick, (8 mundik, mondic). [Prob. Celtic Cornish, but the original form is uncertain; maen teg, ‘pretty stone’ has been conjectured.] Cornish miners' name for iron pyrites, or pyrites in general. Also attrib.
