niridazole, n. Pharm.|ˌnaɪˈrɪdəzəʊl| [f. nitro- + imidazole n.] An anthelminthic drug which has been used in the treatment of schistosomiasis and is usually given orally; 1-(5-nitrothiazol-2-yl) imidazolidin-2-one, C6H6N4O3S .
