noogenesis|nəʊəʊˈdʒɛnɪsɪs| [ad. F. noögenèse, f. Gr. νόο-ς mind + genesis.] The coming into being of the stage or sphere of the mind, according to Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's theory of evolution (see quot. 1959).
