orbitelous, a. Zool.|ɔːbɪˈtiːləs| [f. mod.L. orbitēl-us, F. orbitèle, f. L. orbis circle, orb + tēla web.] ‘Orb-weaving’; applied to those spiders which spin orbicular or circular webs, as the garden-spider. So orbiˈtelar a. = prec.; orbiteˈlarian a. (= prec.) and n. (= next); ˈorbitele, an orbitelous spider, an ‘orb-weaver’.
