‖ pacay|paˈkai, pəˈkeɪ| Also paccay. [a. Peruv. pacay, in Sp. pacaya.] A Peruvian leguminous tree (Inga Feuillei) of sub-order Mimoseæ, cultivated for its large white pods, which are esteemed as an article of food. Also applied to a tree of the genus Prosopis.
