Paget Path.|ˈpædʒɪt| The name of Sir James Paget (1814–99), English surgeon, used in the possessive to designate: a. A disease (also called osteitis deformans) that affects chiefly the elderly and is often symptomless, being characterized by the localized alteration of tissue in one or more bones (most often in the spine, skull, or pelvis), which become thickened and may undergo fracture or bending.
