paigeite Min.|ˈpeɪdʒaɪt| [f. the name of Sidney Paige (1880–1968), U.S. geologist + -ite1.] A borate of iron and magnesium, (FeII,Mg)2FeIIIBO5 with more ferrous iron than magnesium, which is found as black orthorhombic crystals.
