Paphian, a. and n.|ˈpeɪfɪən| [f. L. Paphi-us adj. (f. Paphos) + -an.] A. adj. 1. Of or belonging to Paphos, a city of Cyprus sacred to Aphrodite or Venus (the Paphian Goddess, Paphian Queen).
