‖ parochet, n. Judaism.|paˈroxet| Also parocheth, paroket, parokhet, parokheth. [Heb. pārōḵeṯ curtain; cf. Akkadian parakku shrine.] A richly decorated curtain which hangs before the Holy Ark in a synagogue.
