paromology Rhet.|pærəʊˈmɒlədʒɪ| Chiefly in L. form paromologia. [ad. Gr. παροµολογία partial admission, f. παρ(α- subsidiary + ὁµολογία agreement, admission, homology.] A rhetorical figure in which something is conceded to an adversary in order to strengthen one's own position.
