pediplain Geomorphol.|ˈpɛdɪpleɪn| [f. pediment1 + plain n.1] An extensive plain formed in a desert by the coalescence of neighbouring pediments (believed to represent a late stage in the cycle of erosion in arid and semi-arid climates). Cf. pediplane.
