phenolized, ppl. a. Chiefly Med.|ˈfiːn-, ˈfɛnəlaɪzd| [f. phenol + -ize + -ed1.] Treated with phenol; spec. (of vaccines, cell samples, etc.) suspended in a dilute solution of phenol. So phenoliˈzation.
