archimime|ˈɑːkɪˌmaɪm| Also arch-. [ad. L. archimīmus, a. Gr. ἀρχίµῑµος: see archi- and mime.] A chief buffoon, or jester; the chief mimic, who in Roman funeral processions imitated the gait and gestures of the deceased.
