phytobezoar, n. Med. and Zool.|faɪtəʊˈbɛzəʊɑː(r), -ˈbiːzɔə(r)| Also hyphened. [ad. G. Phytobezoar (O. Bollinger 1891, in Münchener med. Wochenschr. 2 June 384/2): see phyto-, bezoar n.] A pathological concretion composed largely of vegetable matter, which may form in the gastro-intestinal tract.
