Picene, a. and n.|ˈpaɪsiːn| [f. L. Picen-us Picene: see -ian.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to ancient Picenum, a region in eastern central Italy, or the pre-Roman iron-age culture associated with it. B. n. A native or inhabitant of Picenum; the pre-Sabellian language attested there. Also Piˈcenian.
