ˈPinpoint, n.2 [f. PIN s.v. P II. a + point n.1, after cashpoint, etc.] A proprietary name for a service whereby customers can use a credit or similar card in conjunction with their PIN number to obtain goods (esp. petrol or train tickets) from an automatic dispenser.
