pithecoid, a. (n.)|pɪˈθiːkɔɪd| [ad. F. pithécoïde, f. Gr. πίθηκος ape: see -oid.] Resembling in form or pertaining to the apes, esp. the higher or anthropoid apes; simian, ape-like.
