arefy, v. ? Obs.|ˈærɪfaɪ| [irregular ad. L. ārefacĕre, f. ārēre to dry + facĕre to make. Cf. satisfy, and see -fy.] trans. and intr. To dry up, parch, wither. Hence the ppl. adjs. arefied, arefying.
