1916Chem. Abstr. X. 1671 The term porphyrinuria is used in place of hematoporphyrinuria because the subtance isolated from the urine is not identical with hematoporphyrin. 1944Jrnl. Amer. Med. Assoc. 29 Jan. 287/1 The term porphyrinuria should be reserved to indicate those instances in which the porphyrins occurring naturally in the urine are present in amounts above the normal range, a condition which exists in a great variety of diseases. 1967Amer. Jrnl. Med. XLII. 476/2 Marked porphyrinuria was an additional feature in this case, and the urine also consistently contained another brown pigment. |
