posterize, v. Photogr.|ˈpəʊstəaɪz| [f. poster2 + -ize.] trans. To print (a photograph) so that there is only a small number of different tones. Also absol. Hence posteriˈzation, the process of posterizing; ˈposterized ppl. a., ˈposterizing vbl. n.
