post-ˈIbsen, a. [f. post- B. 1 a + the name of Henrik Ibsen (see Ibsenism).] Subsequent to the life or works of Ibsen; influenced by the style or views (esp. concerning social reform) of Ibsen. Hence post-ˈIbsenist a., pertaining to or characteristic of drama subsequent to, and influenced by, Ibsen; also as n., a developer of the methods or views of Ibsen.
