prefrontal, a. (n.) Anat. and Zool.|priːˈfrɒntəl| Also præ-. [f. pre- A., B. + L. frons, front- forehead + -al1, or f. pre- + frontal.] A. adj. a. Situated in front of the frontal bone of the skull. b. Situated in the fore part of the frontal lobe of the brain.
