arsenious, a. Chem.|ɑːˈsiːnɪəs| [f. arsenic) + -ious.] Of the nature of, or containing, arsenic. In Chem. applied to those compounds in which arsenic combines as a triad, as arsenious oxide or (less correctly) arsenious acid, common white arsenic.
