Gr. ῥιπίς fan + mod.L. -phorus (see -phorous): see -id3.] A. n. A beetle of the group Rhipiphoridæ, larvæ of which are endoparasites in insects, esp. wasps. B. adj. Of, pertaining to, or designating a beetle of this group.
