1676J. Cooke Marrow Chirurg. iv. i. ix. (ed. 3) 740 Rossalia, red fiery spots, which break out at the beginning of Diseases all over the Body as if it were a small Erysipelas. 2. Scarlatina; scarlet fever. Good wished to revive the name rosalia in place of the ‘barbarous and unclassical term’ scarlatina.
